10/31/19 – VICTORY IN HAMILTON COUNTY TODAY. Randy Freking of Freking & Betz in Cincinnati, and I won a $213,000 verdict against OHIO NATIONAL today on a breach of contract claim. I filed the case and did all the discovery and summary judgment briefing; Randy and I both did trial prep; and Randy tried the case. The jury didn’t award our client more money because they believe she’s so good at what she does, she should be able to mitigate her damages and earn back that income in no time at all. It was a great joint effort for a wonderful client against a horrible company.
